Caring for the
Caregiver

The Problem

In 2005, Charles was asked to speak after a fatal shooting rocked the emergency department of St. Mary Medical Center. Since then, he has dedicated his career to helping others within healthcare to develop work cultures that are healthy and happy

Bedside caregivers are frustrated. Patient experience is a top priority, and although that is important, it is equally crucial for nurses’ voices to be heard and be happy with their jobs. Because many nurses are either leaving their jobs or purposely not joining the profession, others are over-worked and unhappy. It is predicted by 2025 that there will be a nursing shortage of 1.3 million – the worst in over 50 years. With over 25 years of healthcare and critical care experience, Charles has accumulated the best practices that create a workplace environment that is energizing, empowering and engaging.

A masterful speaker, an award-winning author, and an accomplished professional of the medical field for over 25 years, Charles is eager to share his revolutionary methods to revitalize hospitals worldwide.
